Parents are encouraged to visit classrooms and their child's teacher. Please call to make arrangements prior to a visit. Enter through the main entrance doors and check-in at the office to sign in and receive your ID badge, before going to the classroom.
Children not enrolled in our school are only allowed in our school when they are accompanied by a parent or prior arrangements have been made with the office and teacher.

We invite those of you who have the time, talents, or an interest to become involved in our school. Volunteers need to sign in at the office on the Volunteer Sheet and complete a background check.
Ask your child's teacher if they need any help in their classroom or contact our parent organization, Hedges PTO, and see if they need any help.
Student Pick-Up and Drop-Off :

The designated student pick-up and drop-off location is on the north side of the playground between Hedges School and the Eastside brick building on 8th Street. Please respect the designated bus parking area in front of the school and student crosswalk zones. If you are not using the pick-up and drop-off zone you are encouraged to park around the school on the city streets and walk to our rear entry/playground area to meet your child.Thanks for your help in keeping our students safe!

Temperature Guidelines :
Students at Hedges School love to go outside for recess! Our students will go outside each day UNLESS the temperature is below zero (including the wind chill). Please make sure to send your child prepared for the weather forecast that day.
